Project Manager (Entry Level)

You will assist Project Managers in all aspects of a construction project including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractors and invoices, and responds to all communications from the architect, owner, construction manager and trade contractors as required. This position may attend project job meetings, assists in coordinating manpower requirements, and analyzes production in the field, and enforces company safety standards.

Responsibilities

Bids

  • Prepare detailed estimate for all bid opportunities with Project Manager

  • Obtain multiple quotes for subcontracts and vendors

  • Write proposal with detailed scope; attend meetings with owners and general contractors to review scope

  • Review all estimates with the Project Manager

Fiscal

  • Review project costs as needed

Project

  • Create job files

  • Obtain necessary permits, prepare purchase orders and subcontracts

  • Assist in preparing and following up on change requests/orders

  • Develop project schedule for specific labor tasks, if required

  • Develop coordination schedule for drawing development, if required

  • Develop and maintain submittal log

  • Release equipment and expedite for delivery

  • Review and complete all punch list items

  • Review job details with field workers as needed

  • Submit equipment cuts for approval

  • Assist in Customer invoicing on a monthly basis

  • Attend project job meetings as requested

  • Review all vendor and subcontractor invoices, check pricing and insure billing amounts are correct

  • Respond to all communications from the architect, owner, construction manager and trade contractors as required

  • Schedule trucking and cranes as required

  • Track tools and return as soon as possible

  • Enforce company safety standards

  • Review and complete all punch list items

  • Operations and maintenance manuals (if required)

  • Valve tag charts (if required)

  • As-built Drawings (if required)

Administrative

  • Write RFIs as required; maintain RFI log

  • Write change order requests on a timely basis; maintain change order log

  • Special Projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and deadlines with high energy

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Construction and project management experience a plus

Service Sales Representative

The Service Sales Representative cultivates and establishes relationships with potential clients, maintains existing client relationships and ensures customer satisfaction for all products and services offered by the company. The Service Sales Representative determines the customer needs, proposes the solution and closes the sale.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a portfolio of assigned customer accounts

  • Acquires new customers through targeted marketing

  • Identifies the key decision makers within an organization and develops a partnership with them

  • Assists customers in developing high-value solutions that meet the customers technical and financial requirements

  • Develops cost estimates for service agreements, system upgrades and small construction projects

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Minimum of five years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry or in a direct selling/marketing position

  • Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems and applications

  • Strong organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills

  • Good project management skills

  • Highly proficient in cold-calling and networking skills

  • Frequent local travel

Business Development Specialist

Chadwick Service Company is looking for a business development specialist who can establish and cultivate relationships with potential clients, maintain existing client relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers including the key decision makers

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to establish relationships with potential customers

  • Identify Industry trends and customer needs to create sales opportunities

  • Promote and represent Chadwick Service Company as a premier service provider

  • Obtain and manage a pipeline of opportunities to meet company goals

  • Sell total value in terms of quality, price, delivery, and service

  • Develop, calculate and present cost-effective customer quotations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in construction sales/business development

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software

  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating and closing skills

  • Ability to develop and execute prospecting plans to include cold calling

  • Strong organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience dealing with contractors, consultants, and networking organizations.

HVAC Service Technician

Chadwick Service Company is looking for a HVAC Service Technician to service and maintain commercial HVAC systems and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Install, Service and Maintain mechanical heating and air conditioning equipment

  • Equipment will include package and split systems, boilers, chillers, refrigeration & pumps

  • You will also work on building automation / controls systems

  • Promote and represent Chadwick Service Company as a premier service provider

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience installing and servicing Commercial HVAC Systems

  • Appropriate CFC handling certifications

  • Valid drivers license

  • Customer oriented attitude

  • Strong organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills

  • This is a collective bargaining position requiring membership in Steamfitters Local Union 420
